CEEPUS

Central European Exchange Programme for University Studies is an exchange programme with General Secretariat in Vienna, Austria. The programme focuses on mobility of students and academic staff, with development of education on higher education institutions as its primary aim. CEEPUS member-states are countries from Central, Eastern and South-eastern Europe: Austria, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia and Slovenia.

Since October 2015, the coordinator for CEEPUS programme for Serbia is TEMPUS Foundation (Terazije 36/I, 11000 Beograd)

The programme enables mobility of the students and academic staff as well as language courses and excursions. The specific feature of the programme is university networks which are based on the cooperation between at least three universities, provided that all three universities are from different countries of the CEEPUS programme.

The ongoing seven-year programme cycle – CEEPUS III – was launched May 1st, 2011. After that the programme will be continued for the next seven years.
